All the action was breathtaking but the film was let down by a weak plot. I was quite frustrated when I left the cinema.
Anyone else seen it? Thoughts? __________________________________________________

They dropped a lot, even more than in Casino Royale. __________________________________________________

Well, maybe your opinion will be different to mine. I did have high expectations though and it didnt meet them. _________________________________________________

IMDB classified the perception as severely mixed. I think I'm still going to go see it in the theater (I'm sure I've seen worse), but I'm no longer going to have my hopes up.

Liked Casino Royale a lot and thought the Bond thing needed to go in a new direction anyway.

I saw it on friday and my opinion was that if it wasnt a "Bond" film it wouldnt be doing so well. Not a bad film but none of the classic Bond stuff you expect. Dont like Daniel Craig as Bond either.
IMO, Casino Royale was the best Bond film I've seen. I like the darker, grittier Bond that Daniel Craig plays much better than the previous Bond characters.

I think its a difference of ages. Those that were around and appreciated the original, more refined Bonds aren't going to like the newer ones. Those that wern't around and are now living in an age of Bourne movies, The Transporter, and other, faster paced movies, are going to be a bigger fan of the grittier 007. I thought Casino Royale was a great flick, and can't wait to see this. But I've never liked the older 007 movies.
Just my 2 cents.
