Don't miss Pardron maduro...the regular line is great, the Anniversary line is stellar. If price is no object, then Padron Anniversary would be my 1st pick among regular production maduros.
Fuente maduros are typically good. The Anejo line, if you can find it, is a favorite of a lot of people.
As others stated, the Oliva Serie G maduro is a great smoke, and it's very well priced at $3-$5; the Oliva Serie O maduro is even better and still around $5-$8.
Be careful out there: even to this day, some unscrupulous manufacturers "dye" their wrappers black. You'll know which ones if your lips and fingers turn black while you're smoking.
My all time favorite maduro is the Hemmingway Work Of Art Maduro (WOAM). Second is the PAM.
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia

AHHH the fabulous WOAM great smoke but so darn hard to get ahold of in bulk.
But today I was lucky enough to litterally stumble upon a few Hemi Maduro Masterpiece's for 13 a pop!!! at a local B&M lol I have no idea how or why they were there but they were!!!
I'd highly recommend the Ashton Aged Maduro as it is my favorite cigar for special occasions. I like the CAO MX2, but I've been busy trying out other cigars. The Olivia Serie G and O are cigars that you definitely need to try out. Macanudo makes some pretty good maduro cigars as well. Hope you find this useful!
