Geez, I hate to post this, but it's late, and I'm tired, and I just oculdn't find it. Do you all have a FAQ topic or new user's topic for getting acquainted with the group and basic questions?

1. Here's a suggestion for getting cigar basics that will answer many of the most common introductory questions: search "cigars 101" in the site's search engine.

2. As far as getting to know the forum participants, read, read, read. It won't take you long to get to know the online personalities.

Here is a link that I think is excellent reading:Cigars 101: Taste and Flavor

No matter what else you do here , DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF TO START THE USUAL TONIGHT'S SMOKE THREAD!!! NEVER!!! The Tonight's Smoke thread is always, without exception, started by Docbarry or Wacco. Failure to heed this advice will result in you being mercilessly beaten down for doing so.

Sorry to be so long getting back to you all -- just wanted to say thanks for the tips and guidance. Looks like I've got plenty to keep me going for awhile.
