this afternoon a padron 6k maduro and tonight a Trinidad Toro.
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia

Tonight a Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto that had some burn issues. Not sure why as it had all day in my cigar case I had with me to dry up a little bit if it was over humidified. A great smoke with lots of good solid flavors of wood and cherry almost black cherry. I really am enjoying this CBID purchase.
I had a Montecristo Afrique. Had a very distinct taste to it. I enjoyed it for a couple of minutes and then got tired of it. Probably won't pick this one up again.

"Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace." Raul Julia

I'm smokin my first Padilla tonight. Excited, but don't really know what to expect. Don't know the exact name, but it is a maduro corona. I'll post a reply after my experience. Anyone already have an idea how these smoke?

Started out this morning with a Graycliff and an iced Kona coffee. (too hot to drink it hot.) Later after lunch I had a Fuente King B. Tonight, I had a RP Sungrown, followed up a few hours later with a Padron 2000 maduro, with copious amounts of scotch. It is below 80 degrees tonight, believe it or not.
