As I said, I just want to thank you Doc for your daily smoke thread. It's extremely interesting and I believe that it is one of the strong points of this forum. It's educational and a great read!!! Thanks for consistantly taking the time to do it and our forum is a better place because of it!!! I know that many here would agree!!! Cheers to DOC!!!

...and condolences to all of those misguided souls who have inadvertently stepped on Doc's toes by attempting to start a competing thread on any given day, lol!
Seriously, though, I like the Today's Smokes threads very, very much. They are, at the basic level, the equivalent of keeping your band on your cigar for everyone else to see what you're smoking. And they are, at the extended level, the equivalent of polite cigar-lounge curiosity. Either way, rendered for us here on the internet. Thanks Doc.

I'm certainly joining to what's said above. Thank you very much Doc, as well as Wacco, for keeping this running at all times regardless of travel or holiday, joyfull or sad happenings in the family, rain or snow, flood or drought...

Thank you for noticing and taking the time to comment.
I have actually asked CA if they could make me a guest editor so I may obtain cigars from manufacturers to try and review. There are just so many cigars out there and so little time.
(FYI CA said no)

You could probably teach them a thing or two.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Doc and he is a great guy.

Well I would gladly write or sign any petition to try and get you on as a guest editor. I think it would actually be a smart move on their part!

I definitely agree with everything that has been said above.
I always look forward to see what everyone is smoking throughout the day and it is one of the first things I look for on the forums to follow up on the late night posters.
Also, I would like to add that very rarely do you find a post where there is not value of some kind added by your input. Everything is always informative.
Thanks again Doc, I never thought I'd find anyone on here who attended Franklin College!
