I have purchased all my cigars at B+M's in upstate NY. Usually i consume them with in a week so i never worried about storage. Now with my humidor i am noticing that the cigars are softer, not soggy but like squezzing a book, than the ones purchased at the B+Ms and immediately smoked. Is that how a cigar feels and the shops have been under humidifying or is someting wrong with my humi? The temp is between 68 and 70 and humidty never above 70. Thanks for any help.

Your cigars should have some give to them when you press them between thumb and forefinger but not be mushy.

If they are hard they are dry
