Hi all, I just a box of cigars and a bundle of 12 cigars about 4 days ago and am also waiting on a humidor in the mail. The humidor hasn't arrived yet and i'm getting worried the cigars are going to go bad if i don't do something soon. Should I freeze them until I receive and season the humidor or put them in ziploc bags? Any advice is appreciated.

Yeah you could put them in bags or tupperware. Just make sure you have something to also keep the humidity right.

No matter where you go or what you want to do....there will always be something or someone in the way.

Put them in a large tupperware container with a slightly damp sponge. It'll do until the humidor arrives.

Response: "Get a $20 bill to taste like a Davidoff and I'll light my entire paycheck on fire!"

...a slightly damp single sheet of a paper towel is more appropriate, or even half a single sheet. A sponge will over humidify very quickly.

The freezer or refrigerator is a big no-no. They would dry out quickly in there.
