September 11, 2001, 8:45AM American Airlines Flight 11 slams into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
Septmember 11, 2001, United Airlines Flight 175 crashes into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
Around Septmember 15th, 2001 President George Walker Bush addressing the nation from the Oval Office should've made an announcement to the country and the world that Kanadahar and Herat, Afghanistan's second and third largest cities no longer exist due to a tactical nuclear strike. Pres. Bush should've informed the world that Kabul would be next if Osama Bin Ladin, Mullah Omar, and other high ranking members of Taliban and Al Queda didn't turn themselves into U.S. or some friendly authority. If the nuclear strike wasn't feasable due to radition spreading to nearby countries, the two cities should've been carpet bombed into oblivion.
Unfortunately we live in a so-called "civilized," "humane," and "compassionate," world. Western nations have to be weary of "collateral damage," and not inflaming a population that always to seems to be perpetually pissed off.
If General William Tecumseh Sherman had did to the South in these days and times what he had did during the Civil War. He and Linclon would've been tried as war criminals. But to Sherman's credit, he understood his enemy and was aware of the measures neccessary to break the will and spirit of The South, and force the Confederacy to capitulate.
The same can be said of President Harry S. Truman with his approval of the use of the atomic bomb over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These were men of morals, conviction, intergrity. They also understood the enemy and knew what it would take to force them to lay down their arms.
But something happened to this nation. No longer are a nation of strong, patriotic, Americans. We're a nation of weak, esmasculated, effinimized peoples with a slavish, pre-occupation with the opinion of a world that is loathful, and envious of us.
We allow are enemies, to worship their God, we give them meals according to the edits of their faith, we give them medical care, we allow them to receive mail, we allow them to cover the windows fo their cells to allow for privacy,(a privilege that the incarcerated in America don't even receive.) We set them free after all useful information is retained from them, we won't attack their holy sites even when these sites are used as bases of operations against us, we allow them to use our courts to air their grievances against us. And whether or not you agree with the invasion of Iraq, you can't agrue the fact that we've gave these people a freedom they seem to be squandering.
The enemy is a vicious, savage lot. They use our humanity, sense of compassion, and respect for life against us. No more I say. It's time for America to again regain it's respect in the world. We have to do WHATEVER IT TAKES TO STABILIZE IRAQ AND WIN THE WAR ON TERROR!!! If that means imposing a curfew and shooting anybody out after that curfew, than so be it. If we have to use phyiscal means to extract information, do it. If mosques have to be turned into churches or synogouges or we have to ban the population from using their places of worship as punishment and for a psyhcological edge, do it. If we have to pick some citizen of the street to check for IED's, do it. If we have to impale terrorists on a stake as a lesson to others do it. These are admittedly extreme measures, but the enemy is extreme. If the President is more worried about the world calling us mean and cruel because he does have the will to let the military do what's neccessary, then he has no other choice but to withdraw the troops.
The problem with that is America would lose what little respect we have on the world stage, and we would be setting ourshelves up for futures attacks.
I write this with a heavy heart. What has happened to my country? Why won't our leaders lead? With the current mind set this nation will never win a military campign again, unless of course we're invaded by a foriegn army. Even then we would be hamstrung, because we would be too concerned with world opinion than ridding our lands of a foriegn invader.

Its not our government that has kept us from being invaded, its our armed civilans. So keep stocking up and when the revolution comes rolling around, we can KILL those against the betterment of mankind, all mankind. If I'm part of the problem then so be it, I should also go.
Your first shot puts him down, then you put one in his brain. Then he's dead, then we go home
I can hear the bleeding heart, tree hugging, etc., rattling their swords now. Oh that's right they don't believe in hurting the enemy even after the enemy be-heads their prisoners. Do they stand trial...NO they are rewarded.
It might seem harsh to some, but that is exactly what should have happened after 911. I mean you're dealing with "people" who believe they will be rewarded by their "god" for killing infidels (while taking their own life) with a bunch of virgins!?????!!!!!!!!!

Here is a very good essay on The Pussification Of The Western Male
"We have become a nation of women.
It wasn’t always this way, of course. There was a time when men put their signatures to a document, knowing full well that this single act would result in their execution if captured, and in the forfeiture of their property to the State. Their wives and children would be turned out by the soldiers, and their farms and businesses most probably given to someone who didn’t sign the document.
There was a time when men went to their certain death, with expressions like “You all can go to hell. I’m going to Texas.” (Davy Crockett, to the House of Representatives, before going to the Alamo.)
There was a time when men went to war, sometimes against their own families, so that other men could be free. And there was a time when men went to war because we recognized evil when we saw it, and knew that it had to be stamped out.
There was even a time when a President of the United States threatened to punch a man in the face and kick him in the balls, because the man had the temerity to say bad things about the President’s daughter’s singing.

Indeed... Troubling isn't it ? And nothing any reasonably realistic person could say would change their minds. Yet their worst punishment is to be themselves.
