I will be visiting the DR next year. One of my things to do is to tour a cigar factory. Does anyone know of a great tour.

Not in theDR. Most of the factories are in a free trade zone. you wouldn't be allowed there without an invitation.

In fact, stay away from any Cubans. They're all fake. If you want some, I can send them to you; I didn't listen, and wasted $400.

I went on a "tour" of L'Torpedo in Punta Cana which was okay, but it's nothing like La Aurora. Just depends where you're staying.

The tour of La Aurora is limited, but it is where they make the Preferido line. Bout the best you can get in the DR. La Aurora is in Santiago so depending upon where you are it could be a long way.
