for electronic RH devices like the OASIS's & the Hydra's.. go to cheaphumidors, cigarextras, heartfelindustries.. maybe even tampahumidors
for cooling, well what do you exactly mean by that ?? do you want to lower the temp inside your humidor ??
sorry, to clarify - im planning to use a wine chiller/humidor. are there aftermarket temp controls which would work better than one's which are built in? i may have no choice but to go w/ a compressor type so i need to be careful w/ temp and rh. thanks!

You can cool a cabinet w/o insulation but the amount of AC capacity [BTU/Wattage] will be very high/costly. Also w/o insulation the AC might run continously and be a noise issue.
Condensation is dealt with by [1] preventing any pass-thru thru of condensatin thru the AC units and their mountings; [2] minimizing condensation by inceasing the air flow over the heat sync on the cold side with the use of cross flow fans AC w/cross flow fans [3] collecting whatever condensate that does form using gravity [the AC units are slightly tilted] & a dam to collect the water and recirculate back it into the humidifier Water recirculation line
