Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on opening up a cigar business? What I mean is I have an opportunity to supply several golf course pro shops with a humidor containing several types of cigars for sale. How exactly would you go about something like that? For instance: Do you need a tobacco license in Florida to do something like this? What would be the best brands to carry? I'm thinking Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Juelieta, Macanudo, and maybe Rocky Patel only because most people are familiar with these. Do you think I may be getting over my head? I'd appreciate any input that anyone can offer. Thanks
There are programs like that that do pretty well. I'm not sure what license you need. I used to work in a proshop at the local country club and we had a humi from another company. The cigars were sold on consignment and the cigar guy came by every few weeks to fill it up again.
Sounds good, should make some money.
