^ Very cool! I want one baaaad. Toasted, is that Hydra working its magic all the way to the top drawer okay? That's a really cool setup. Everyone interested, NOTE how big the Hydra and Cigar Oasis XL's (same size) are! I know it surprises people when they come in the mail.

I think it is doing all right. I have it set at 69%RH now. I do however have a little help for the top tray with a beads humidifier I took out of one of the old humidifiers. There is still some adjusting and rearranging to do, you know the drill. Looking for some boxes to move some of the loose smokes to the shelves. It seems I have bought more Monte Media Noche's than I had thought. I still have a bunch of Ashton VSG's, Puro Sols & Maduros to put in there too. They are in a separate humi right now.

I finally did my little cigar band project today, so I figured I would post pics of it. I basically just glued some of my saved bands to the lid of my desktop humi: The LidFigured I might as well show what's inside (nothing exciting like some of these posts!) That unbanded in the top right is a Punch Double Corona CC.. Top ShelfThe RestI am still trying to decide whether or not I want to tackle the project of turning a guest room closet into a humidor.. I definitely need mroe room! I only have this humi, and a small 25 count at work If anyone has input, ideas, or alternate suggestions - these would all be appreciated!

Dood, nice collection. But why did you attack the Sp. Cedar joints in your lid with silicone? Also, what RH are your beads? Don't they battle with your Boveda packs???

I had to silicone the joints because they were so wide you could fit a quarter in em, so I could not get above 60% RH. As a last trial before the trash pile, I tried silicone. Works much better now, but as you can see, I still need quite a bit of help to keep the RH up. The Boveda packs just cannot do it alone, but with the beads in there, and 3 bovedas it holds around 65-67% (which is right where I want it).

Silicone sealant on wood outgases for 6-months or more. If you did not wait at-least that long before putting your cigars back in, they are all contaminated with silicone. Silicone in your mouth is a whole other issue.

I let it sit open for 2 weeks, assured that there was no smell, then charged it for a week. Again opened it and assured that there was no smell. I'm not sure where the 6 month timeframe that are stating comes from, but that definitely hasn't been my experience.

I can't wait to pack her with some boxes!
I hope you have not copyrighted this idea because I may just go on ahead and steal this idea and do the same thing.

Awesome, if you got it on EBAY, you probably got a good deal. I'll have to look those up.
