Long time smoker, first time posting. There have been alot of things I have wanted to post on here but the one that keeps itching my brain is this.

Which do you like better, God of Fire or Opus X

I know both are hard to get and top dollar, but when that time comes for a real special smoke wich do you prefer.

For me, I like them both but I have to give an edge to the Opus X, it has more of that Fuente spice that I love so much.

Welcome to the asylum!

For myself, I've had only limited experience with the GOF,so my vote goes to OpusX. There are also more OpusX vitolas, so you can select the best smoke for the occasion...

Just my $.02

So many cigars, so little time...

Neither. To me, an Ashton VSG beats both and is about as good as it gets for an NC.

Steve, I've read alot of your posts and we seem to have similar taste in cigars.

You should really give the LG small batch #2 a try.

That said, I like a VSG, but its not at the top of my list. I have a GOF Carlito sitting in my humi. I was saving it for my son's birthday, but I may need to spark it sooner and have an opus instead so I can make a fair comparison Big Grin

Yeah, I've had this one on my list for awhile. Gonna have to get a few singles before I go for a 50 cab though. Wink

If your talking about the small batch no 2 they only come in boxes of 105 cigars. Just thought you would want to know.

Yeah, for $1,500. I'm sure its worth it. You could also order 5 packs from NHCigar or singles from Jackschwartz.com.

More and more places are carrying the singles. They usually run around $15.00 - $16.00
