Observation 1 - Apparently you can buy bikini's in the XXXXL size.
Observation 2 - There should be a law that defines a ratio of the allowable amount of exposed skin to wrinkles.
Observation 3 - 108 degrees and a couple buckets of beer make some people express these observations aloud.

Just wanted to share. Any of you have similar disappointing observations?

yeah once the tangiers went down vegas went to hell i thought you would have learned that haha

No - we stayed at the Luxor - which is kind of a pit. I wouldn't recommend it.

On the Strip I like mandalay Bay. Just off the strip down the street across from Caesar's is a nice small hotel/casino called Tuscany Suites. It is close enough to walk to Caesars or hop the monorail.

its just over-hyped besides the pyramid looks its not that great. i stayed there, the monte carlo and mirage and the luxor was at the bottom of the list by far. however the rooms that are not in the actual pyramid are way nicer.

Huh... I usually like Luxor. They have really good room rates and they've totally remodeled the place. Even though its on the south end of the strip, you are connected directly to Mandalay Bay and can take a tram to NY, NY. Cross the bridge and you are at MGM and the monorail. I don't bother with the pools, so I can't make any observations there. Sunbathing in the middle of a desert just doesn't do it for me. But if you wanna see the hotties, head over to the Palms or Hard Rock.

Tuscany does have lesser rates and is only a couple of blocks from the strip. I have stayed there on business and it is clean and the rooms are large.

The next time you're in Vegas try "Bare" a "European style" pool at the Mirage. The view is much better.

This was my first visit to Vegas, so I'm no expert. But my impression of the hotel is that it's getting a bit worn out. Elevators not working, carpet and paint a bit tattered. The layout of the hotel is just bad. Getting from the room to the casino floor was a maze. And the location of the hotel, on the south end of the strip, makes it inconvenient to get to other casinos. Even getting to the monorail is a bit of a chore. I did, however, like both of the restaurants we visited (the Company Kitchen and Tender). Food, service were excellent. And you do have easy access to Mandalay, which I thought was a nicer casino, and a better variety of bars and restaurants. Again, I'm not an expert - these are just my humble opinions.

You should go to Club Med in Punta Cana, or any beach in Europe. You will see the young and the old topless. It's a human body, and it sometime looks pretty nasty.

Once a guy about my age, and really out of shape, decided to go bottomless on the beach at Punta Cana. You never saw a 10 meter perimeter ring form so fast around a guy. Strangely at dinner that night he had a 10 person table all to himself and his embarrassed wife.

Cor: Steve, you have proven yourself to be a tremendous whack job.

Interesting. A few years ago we stayed at the MGM on the ground level off the casino floor and was surprised at a few things. The room was good, the bathroom was beautiful, but every shower we were running out of hot water, the ice machine was beaten up. Wasn't what I expected.

Next door the Tropicana has a wing of cheap rooms they they suck.
