The Mrs and I arrived home yesterday after a long weekend in Vegas. While there, we spent some time at the pool when were weren't in the casino. I'd like to report that the entire pool was crowded with hotties - but I'd be lying.
Observation 1 - Apparently you can buy bikini's in the XXXXL size.
Observation 2 - There should be a law that defines a ratio of the allowable amount of exposed skin to wrinkles.
Observation 3 - 108 degrees and a couple buckets of beer make some people express these observations aloud.

Just wanted to share. Any of you have similar disappointing observations?

I had a similar experience in Vegas last summer but let me add another:

#4 Most of the obese bikini-wearers are NOT American. In fact, while I was there, most of the tourists were not Americans.

What's your point? Don't Americans lead the world in obesity rates? Please enlighten me, lol.

Wearing of bikinis should be a priviledge, not a right.

95% of women who wear two piece bikini's shouldn't.
100% of men who wear bikinis shouldn't

Thats what I learned from the beaches of Mexico last year.

Yes, we probably "lead" the world in obesity (although the Germans and Brits seem to be closing the gap). My point is that we are not the only obese people and that most of the obese bikini - wearers around a pool in Vegas are not Americans. Obese American bikini-wearers gather at pools in theme parks.

I have heard it explained somewhat differently. It has more to do with body image and being comfortable in your own skin. Supposedly, Europeans are simply less concerned with what they look like in small swimsuits and, given the rare chance (German and English) will seek first to soak up the sun. Concern about appearance in the bikini is secondary at best.

Obviously you spend little time outside the states. The rest of the world is catching up at an alarming rate. No longer is blubber confined to the land of the free an the home of the brave!
