As long as you dont over soak them again and again and again, and cause them to explode, they should be fine. I use a very light misting of distilled water on my KL and it does great. Ive heard it recommended that you leave them completely dry but with a small dish of distilled water next to it,and it will absorb the water naturally and extend the life.
