Tabcon was gracious enough to send me a few cigars to try. Two of them are Tatuaje.

The one I chose today is 6-3/4 X 48.

The cigar has a beautiful wrapper in chocolate brown with a good looking cap.

Upon clipping, the heel of the cap came off indicating that the cement used to glue it on was probably not that good.

This cigar started off quite harsh, reminding of an Indian Tabac cigar that I smoked once.

There is a distinct taste of cherrys noted in the early smoke, something I have rarely tasted in a fine cigar.

There is some complexity to the flavor profile and to be quite honest I believe smoking only one would not be fair to really figure out what the manufacturer is attempting to blend.

More on this cigar later, when I finish smoking it

I believe that is what this cigar is the J21 Reserve.

Actually quite a good cigar.

I am almost finished with it and I really like it.

If Don Pepin reads this and would like to send me a couple of boxes (One to smoke and one to age for a few years) for a real review I would gladly accept them.

After brunch at the local shop, an Aurora 100 Anos churchill...my first, but hopefully not my last! A very good cigar...

Too cold and windy tonight for anything else...

Nothing for me tonite, in the low 20's and snowing pretty heavily. Too cold and nasty to smoke.

Doc, I'm glad you are enjoying it.

I just didn't like the flavor profile for some reason.

LMK how it finishes for ya!

Perdomo Maduro Cuban Parejo, a man's cigar, no little girly ring gauges. Excellent, excellent stick. My all time favorite, smooth draw and spicy, nutty flavor. Try one!

Earlier a Gurkha Ancient Warrior large perfecto, and now a RP Vintage 1990 Sixty. Both are nice smoking cigars, but think I like the flavor profile of the Ancient Warrior better, it is a crude looking thing though. Will definitely try each again, as this was my first of both.
