First of all hello to all of you in the forums. My name is chris and am new to the cigar world. A friend turned me onto cigars a couple of months ago and their has been no going back so it would seem. This has been extremely addicting, almost as bad as my gun habbit lol. Anyways one evening I ran into a old aquaintance of mine from school that I had not seen in about 10 years and we talked about the usual catch up stuff life, family, job etc..Soon we got onto the cigar topic and we chatted for a goot bit and a couple of cohiba black churchills from the local tinderbox got pulled out. It was a very nice and smooth cigar I had thought, and just like that I got hooked. I was just fascinated by how relaxing it was to sit back on the patio with a couple of pints of guinness and chat about old times and new aswell. After that I started looking into cigars a bit deeper and another friend said hey try thompson cigar company they are pretty good I hear. So later that evening I bought a starter kit small humi and 25 pack of cigars.. When they arrived in a couple of days I was so excited it was not easy to keep from them. After I ahd my humi and all set up for a few days, it was time to try one. Long story short not a real good experience at all. That was a couple of months agoand since then I have gotten a bigger better humi and been tryin all different types of stogies. So far I have tried Padrons, Punch Rare Corojo, La Gloria Cubana Charlemagnes,Perdomo La Tradicions, Camacho, have an A. Fuent Don Carlos sitting in the humi yet, Gran Habana #3,#5, and 3 Siglo's, a couple San Cristobal and Carlos Toranos and my wife had me nab some Gurkha Grand Master Dos Capas from c-bid cause she thought they were pretty lol.. Actually trhey were not bad at all imo. So far the Padron has become my favorite smokes with the punch rare Corojo not far behind, althought I am really starting to like the 3 Siglos. I have been hovering around the forums for a few weeks and decided it was time to join in and meet some new folks. So I want to say hello again and welcome any advice , chit chat or comic relief anyone would like to give out to a noob. Happy Smokin!!

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Dlobo nice avatar. I am a lifelong cowboys fan and look forward to seeing the mathup this week against the bears. My buddy was Romo's tight end in college at Eastern. It still baffles me that guy who we used to party with is the cowboy/pro bowl qb.

GO COWBOYS

"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points."
