On vacation in London I was shown a nice cigar book in a cigar shop. It is a large table top reference guide, i think with a life size pictures, roughly 2' x 1', i think it had a white cover/jacket, either largely or solely addressing Cubans, asking price was 100 pounds sterling. Anyone know what this book might be and where to get it, or maybe a few similar books?

It must have been "An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Post-Revolution Havana Cigars" by Min Ron Nee.
I mail-ordered mine from Hinds Tobacconists in Toronto (they have a web-site). About 125 CAD + S&H.

Hinds Tobacconists website seems out of order, but I found a places in the UK that works out to $125 including shipping. Sound about right?

Good deal! But try to find out if it is the revised edition which is slightly updated compared to the original edition.

Great book. Really gets into it. One man's opinion on some things but he acknowledges that. The "aging" info is fascinating--and promising!

First saw Karlz's book and had to have one.

Enjoy it! I know I do. I love to read a cigar's --and it's brand's-- history before smoking it.
