There will be a HERF, Cigar Affair, Meeting of smokers, take your pick, on 3/11/06. This will be held a Havana Dreams Cigar Lounge located in Rego Park, Queens.

The event will start about 5:00 and end whenever.

There will be a per person charge, but there will also be free beer, wine, soda or coffee, cigars and some food (probably Pizza)

If interested, let me know.

This cigar lounge is located on Woodhaven Blvd, about 1/2 mile off the Long Island Expressway.

Easily reached from everywhere.

Directions: From California: Take Route 70 or 80 East to the George Washington Bridge. Follow signs to Triboro Bridge then get off the Grand Central Parkway at The Lonbg Island Expressway WEST go to Woodhaven Blvd and go about 1/2 mile.

From Florida Take I-95 to The New Jersey Tpk, Take the Gothels Bridge exit across Staten Island to the Belt Parkway EAST. Get off at Woodhaven Blvd and go north about 6-miles.

See you all there

I'm gonna talk to Kim about this. We've been meaning to get up to New York for a while anyway. Smile

Doc this sounds great.

The possibilities of making this sound good also, not too far away I have not been to NYC in awhile and I don't think I am busy.

I'll have to check out my schedule and and try and make the trip, maybe see if anyone from around the Boston area is going .

Neighborhood is good, on street parking available.

It is being held in a Cigar Lounge so there better be smoking allowed or the place will be raided.

Several good places to eat in the area but we will be getting food, wither pizza or maybe some hot trays depending on the number of people and the amount of money we would have to lay out.

Oh man oh man.

Just got an e-mail from Ernesto Padilla. Somebody from Padilla will be attending the NYC sit-down. I've got to call their rep on Tuesday to work out the details. I'll post it when I know it.

That's great news Ernesto. Thanks.

I was also just informed that cigars will be there from at least 7 different companies making it at least 10 or more boxes of cigars.

I hope to see you all there

I don't think there is a head count. It's posted on a couple of boards. Doc said the place can fit 25-30 in the basement lounge and another 15-20 upstairs.

10 Boxes of cigars so far -
4 from Altadis
4 from General Cigar
2 from CAO

It's gonna be sweet.
