Something new and different. Something exciting to get you thinking outside the box. Something creative that takes thought process.

It's not all bad. I'm especially enjoying the 150 new reviews of crap cigars posted under Group Cigar Reviews. Ever wondered how a Curly Head stacks up to your finest handmades? How about the latest happenings from Don Kiki and Flatbed Cigars, whoever the hell they are? Well, click on over and find out.

How about a separate thread titled what cigar are you aging for this weekend?

"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points."

Yea it is pretty funny, matthewjmichael, has turned the Group Cigar Review forum into his personal traffic and distribution channel back to his blog. Too funny. Kind of reminds me of a Cuckoo Bird, practicing their brood parasitism.

Mmmm, yes I agree with this.

In fact we should rename "Group Cigar Reviews" to "Approved Cigar Reviews". Any reviewer would need to provide a link to their Official Cigar Reviewer Certificate, and God forbid that a cigar, brand, or blender that fellow Approvers had never heard of would ever be reviewed. So that others might be able to maintain their sagacious cigar supremacy, and in order to efficiently avoid anything new and perhaps different, such cigars would automatically be categorized under the new "Crap Cigars / Gurkha" forum.

This would accomplish several things:

1) Those who could not afford a $12 smoke every day could be more effectively excluded, maintaining the purity of the forum.

2) When we wanted to denigrate those who dared to post about their good experience with a Crap Cigar / Gurkha, it would be much more efficient because we would have only one forum to peruse.

3) Because we know that no good cigar may be had for under $10, price point in any review will henceforth count for 90 out of the 100 total points, with every dollar under 10 causing an automatic 5-point deduction.

In the interest of satirical fairness: MJM, it's pretty transparently obvious that your reviews posted there are intended mostly for SEO purposes. But I've still learned a few things.

Glad you are showing your age there buddy way to be the bigger man!!!

You know whats even funnier is that Doc has not weighed in on this issue cause he doesn't have to. You on the other hand just want to keep kicking a dead horse. I don't know maybe its just me but I don't get off rubbing someones face in on a screw up, so are you going to do this again next week when the next newb makes thread titled on what he was smoking while hes sitting in a spa??? Me on the other hand would just politely show the error of the newbs ways and press on but that would be just me.

I think you mean SEM: Search Engine Marketing. Optimization is something else.

Yeah, I said something about this weeks ago but most seemed to think I was being negative. Funny that most cigars he rates come out at 8.8 haha, move the decimal to the right one place and maybe CA will hire him. Wink

Anyways, his reviews are interesting as many of the sticks he has reviewed I have never heard of.

I have the answer, we need Smokin' and Soapin'-for people who shower while smokin in the hot tub.

Everybody is just having a little fun. Nobody is rubbing anything is anyones face. When a noob makes a silly post, you'll get the business a little bit. It's happened to me and nearly everybody else here from what I've seen in the past three years.

Luckybreak asking for cigars, Presely and others for politics, everybody gets the business. I accidently posted a source once. A guy I know who now is an extremely serious collector of CCs asked for a source his first day here and got blasted. It happens.

I would say you cannot become a real members unless it's happened to you lol Smile

I like the way you put that, "everybody gets the business", well put. We all give and we all take. That's just the way it is. It is what it is.
