Yep, title pretty much says it all. Signature Collection Robusto. Came in a sampler pack from CI, had a light wrapper. Did not get sparkling reviews in CA, scored an 84.
******** A dusty taste marks this cigar. It has a hint of leather too, but in the end it is dominated by mildness with a dry wood and salty character *******
Pre light draw had a sickeningly sweet note, and the wrapper did not smell nice. After lighting and the first couple puffs, the cigar had a sort of overly fermented sweet character and a note that tastes like what dust smells like when you accidentally breathe it in after bothering a dusty item. Within 5 puffs I was sick to my stomach, the cigar was burning very ho, and very quickly. In 6 years of smoking cigars I have never thrown one out after 5 puffs...this was truely awful.

----------------------------- "The cigar...is something that commands respect. It is made for all the senses, for all the pleasures, for the nose, the palate, the fingers, the eyes... A good cigar contains the promise of a totally pleasurable experience."
DD, in your 6 years of smoking cigars if you had to toss just one, your way ahead of the game, 1 in 6 years, I have been a cigar smoker since 1955, just about the time your parents were born I would guess, & so far this year I have tossed about 3 cigars alone after taking a few puffs, & one was a Punch, it must have been rolled in rat dropping or some thing it had a taste that I cant tell you how bad it was, I had a no name bundle that had a taste of soap, it hit the ashtry as soon as it got fired up& one other I had split from end to end when I lit it, just like an earthquake, Bang , it just ripped it self length wise , so my young friend 1 bad cigar in 6 years, well done , you found a bad one, Good luck on the nect 6 years ! Enjoy, Vince

Back to topic, Perdomo has three lines in my book:
Genuine Counterfeit Cubans: I forget the size but they have a little perfecto that is on eof my favorite "lawn mowing" cigars. I know I am going to take crap for this one, but it is a solid little smoke for 2 bucks.
Cuban Parejo: Perfecto Grande is a great medium priced face full of smoke. The size and shape are one of my favs.
La Tradicion: Since they have changed the wrappers, the white and the silver labesl are good. I like the X and all of the perfecto shapes.
I just realized that all of my fav Prdomos are perfectos! For the rest of the Perdomo lines and shapes, there are other cigars I prefer for the money.
DigiDemon, you should drop by the non-cuban board and check out DonSchenck's Dog Rocket contest. I believe it's over, but it was damn hysterical. Maybe you can send him one of those to see how it fares against the current champion.

haha, thanks for the linkage. I've been installing windows XP and other software on my parent's computer here for the last 3 hours (just one of the many fun things I do when I get to come home from college!) and that gave me a great laugh!
