The normal box cigars come in.

The alternative is a cabinet which contains 25 or 50 cigars tied with a ribbon in a wood box.

By a "normal" box he means the traditional box covered with front, end and edge labels, usually with a flap over the cigars. These are sometimes called chromos (sp?) which I think is Spanish for "colors."(?)

This is a small 10ct. dress box:

A cabinet is a squarish wooden box usually where the cigars are in a quarter wheel of 25 tied with ribbon. They are sometimes packed in other ways, with cedar between the layers, small trays or the whole bundle wrapped in tissue etc. and still called a cabinet.

Cabinets can be varnished, unvarnished and sometimes labeled like a dress box. If it has a panel that slides out instead of a hinged lid it is referred to as a SLB, slide lid box.

This is an example of a cabinet:

Thanks fellas. I was shopping online and I noticed anything on that particular site did not offer any codes for the dress boxes. They only offered codes for the cabinet boxes. I just wanted to make sure I was getting an unopened box. I have ordered from that site before and have been real pleased. Thanks again!!!!

There is also a semi boite nature with brooch. This is a cedar box that has a hinge and a clasp on the front to hold the lid in place. Cohiba Esplendidos and Upmann Sir Winstons are just two examples of cigars packaged in this style.
