Believe it or not, I do not have a cigar ashtray. I would like to purchase a single cigar ashtray that is durable (I smoke on my concrete balcony), simple (nothing flashy or huge), and relatively inexpensive. I have looked around a little, (including the other post below) but figured I would ask if anyone has a good recommendation about a specific ashtray or a good place to buy from. I dont' need/want something as huge as the Stinky. Just something to rest my cigar on when I go in for another beer! Wink

In the alternative, if someone has one they want to sell, I suppose I would be interested in that as well.

Hey, follow this link (http://www.bey-berk.com/2008/cat1.htm) then find page 158 on the left of the page. The ashtray I have is towards the bottom right of the page (Item #C309). I'm not sure exactly how to buy the product. I got it from a cigar store for under $15. Let me know if you have any luck.

This meets all the criteria you mentioned!

Durable, Simple & Inexpensive

It will go well with your concrete too. Wink

I guess I'm a cheap bass-tarred because I googled and couldn't find anything I would prefer more for less than $20.

Not sure how much you want to spend. But these seem like a good single cigar ashtray.

A coffee can that is cut down with the sharp edge folded in will work nicely. Cost: $0.00

I like the brick too.

I prefer the term "industrial pottery" and you have to admit for "industrial pottery" it has a lot of style. Smile

I have that ashtray, I like it. The only complaint I have is that if you put larger cigars the ash tends to break off early because it touches the inside of the ash catcher.

So I just usually put the ash towards the outside of the tray for the first hour.

It is a good ashtray though.
