In honor of my father's birthday and anticipating the Yankees lock on the American League Penant this evening, I have a Montecristo Open Regatta lined up accompanied by a beauifully aged rum called Barrilito Three Stars from Puerto Rico on the rocks, Manchego cheese and Spanish Chorizo!

Had some Chorizo (spicy pork sausage) and eggs for breakfast, no cheese, then sat on the deck with a Cohiba Secretos Maduro courtesy of Mikemo. Damm rain in New York... was looking forward to a good ball game.

"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia
Cleaned out the chicken coop, put down new straw and some old compost in the chicken yard to give the girls something to scratch for bugs in, covered up the smoker and grill, cleaned up the backyard and patio a bit, turned the compost pile and then sat down and enjoyed a nice relaxing Fuente Hemingway Best Seller.
It's a BEAUTIFUL evening in the bay area.

This evening, a Tatuaje Regios Reserva, and a Cain 454T Habano. Bought several loose Cains two weeks ago at a local shop. Oliva continues to prove a decent cigar can be made to sell at a reasonable price.
