I went down to the den this morning only to find that the video on my computer is gone. MrsDoc is taking my computer to see if it can be repaired (this is the second breakdown on a 1-year-old computer in less than 6-months)

Tonight as usual I will be enjoying an Opus X Super Belicoso with a Tanqueray martini, a plate of pepperoni and smoked gouda but no computer to keep me company.

Q'uel domage. Frown

Hey Doc, buy an Apple -- makes life much easier. Get the Apple Care warranty and enjoy. There are plenty of Apple stores in and around NYC.

The temperature rose above freezing for the first time in a week so I'm off to get the car washed.

Pulled out a Griffin's No. 300 for the wait.

What E-cord said. With the new iMac, you can still run all of your PC apps without a hitch, and they don't come with all of the preloaded garbage that slows down PCs.

Those "Hello, I'm a Mac - Hello, I'm a PC" ads are both funny and true.

Yeah, I bought my daughter a 15" MacBook for college and she loves it (so do I). Someday I'll probably get one.

To keep my post out of the hi-jack category, after we go out for breakfast we're heading over to our local B&M. I have some Tatuaje (both brown & red labels), DPG Blue labels and some God of Fires I want to pick up--probably two or three of each. I'm also getting low on my scotch so a bottle of Lagavulin is on the list as-well.

Later, I'll be smoking a few Gran Habanos 3 Siglos and some RP Sun Growns that have been in my box for awhile now.

Padilla 1932 robusto after 1st course

Ashton VSG Belicoso after main course

Tatuaje Havana VI Exclusivo Zona del Este after dessert with drinks

They're in the dry box now

Can't wait until 6pm!

Checked out the first cigar from floridasmoke's PIF - Padilla Hybrid robusto. I wanted to wait at least a few more days to make sure the sticks settle down after travel, but couldn't resist... And wasn't dissapointed!

Doc I understand and sympathize you. My laptop crashed a week ago. Took a few days to recover. Though unlike yours, it took 2.5 years that to happen first time.

Oh of the people buying cigars at my B&M suggested I try a Drew Estate Natural Dark Angel so I wen out for a drive this morning. I fired up the cigar and it was a tight draw and half way through the wrapper started to come off and the draw was still very tight. I probably wont get another one...

Why are John Deere's green? So they can hide in the fields while the Farmall's do all the work.

Smokey I have been never cared for cigars by Drew Estates.

After smoking for almost 50-years I have settled on Fuentes and Cubans.

If it's good enough for Doc, it's good enough for me. I too have started having an Opus X as my Saturday cigar.

Just finished an Opus X Petit Lancero that I had in my box for awhile...what a nice size for an Opus. With that had a small snifter of Lagavulin, one of my favorite single malts.

I am learning to sip my scotch a little slower allowing my palette to enjoy more of the cigar’s flavor instead of being overpowered by the scotch.
