...an Acid Kuba Kuba. I see most people around here don't like them Frown

My boss had gotten a box of them from his brother in-law for x-mas (he smokes ciagretts, not sure why someone bought him a box of cigars).

Anyhoo...he's been raving about them since Christmas and last night I was over at his house for a poker game. He insisted I try one.

I actually went in to it with an open mind. I had always wanted to try them but didn't want to spend money on them given the generally negative review by posters on this forum.

First off, it was too dry (he has no humidor), but the worst part was that it was SOOOO overwhelming. I had to spit out my saliva every other puff or so because I was afraid to swallow that sweet taste for fear of making me puke.

Maybe a flavored cigar with a VERY mild flavoring would be OK, but that was so much that it was disgusting.

I will admit that I'm pretty sensative to that stuff. I won't walk in to the purfume section of department store or set foot inside a Victoria's Secret store because the smell overwhelms me and makes me want to puke. That cigar reminded me of that. Smile

Sorry to hear about your bad experience, Dave. I think one does not have to be sensitive as you describe yourself to feel the same.
I also think they flavor cigars to hide the bad taste of lousy tobacco, but a lot of times the flovoring itself is worse...

For anyone reading this thread who is considering flavored cigars. Don't keep them in the same humidor as your regular smokes. They will infuse all other regular smokes with their flavors.
