Welcome to the forum. My only experience with a Macanudo was that I chucked it after the first inch finding it was like smoking cardboard. It was really a shame too, since I had the perfect spot by the river and no other cigars to smoke.

It could be worse...he could be taking them ACIDS!!! Eek

They are not smokers, but have all heard of Macanudo's. They will see them and think "wow".
And I will walk away looking really good in their eyes. BTW, I definately wouldn't ever take Acids

this is a good choice for non frequent smokers who don't know better...mild and with the best name recognition around(isn't marketing wonderful?)...but you should have only bought one each, then when they were through, give them a casa torano and explain that you can have mild and full flavored...

Macs are probably ok for new/infrequent smokers. However, we should not take joy in giving our friends Macs while we smoke the good cigars.

The Macs were a hit with the folks at the dinner/event last night. I even had one at csmithnj's request. Now my throat is so dry.

It was a sausage fest, except for the models hired to sell raffles and display all the guns on auction...It went well though.

I never knew about the society until you mentioned it. Based on the website, I like the cause to protect forested land.
