I have recently returned to smoking cigars. Our local tobacco shop has folded up. In South East New Mexico it is difficult to get good smokes unless you travel to the big city (Albuquerque or El Paso).
I am considering purchasing cigars on line. Any advise on cigar purchases, good or bad? Thanks in advance for your responses!
I hope this list will help you find what you are looking for my friend.

Tom, you'll be happy to know that me and a buddy of mine are starting a tobacco shop here in El paso that does online orders. We will also be delivering based on order size! Starting in June we'll be open for business!

Perhaps I'm being a little to anal retentive here, but I would suggest a West Coast vendor for your on-line purchases.
I buy the bulk of my smokes from Famous Smoke Shop in Pennsylvania. Because of my location here in NYC I get my deliveries in only 1 day via regular UPS.
Getting your deliveries into New Mexico from (eg) Pennsylvania (Famous, Holts, CI) will definitely take several days more if you don't want to spend extra for overnight delivery.
Like I said at the top that may be a bit picayune on my part, but better the cigars in your humidor rather than bouncing around a UPS truck for 3 or 4 days.
I think there is a vendor by the name of MD Cigars in Arizona and another in Texas by the name of Finck that perhaps will get you your orders in a more orderly time frame than someone from the East Coast.
Good Luck!
