After lurking on these Boards for a couple of months I've decided to at least become semi-active again. When I dropped out some years ago, it was because at that time there was a sentiment that was unappealing. By that I mean there was a time on these boards, where Posters seemed to get more enjoyment out of flaming someone when a question was asked that they deemed improper or stupid. The last few months that I have been visiting, I haven't witnessed any of what drove me away back then. There now seems to be a real community of folks, who enjoy the same things I do, primarily enjoying a quality cigar(CC&NC)and sharing whatever knowledge we have with others.

P.S. Since it's been some years for me, someone tell me what B&M stands for. I thought I would eventually figure it out but it hasn't happened yet.

Welcome back! I am pretty new here myself, but B&M stands for brick and mortar, as in brick and mortar store (not online.)

Welcome back Kbice!

I've only been on the forum since August and I'm impressed by the members here in general.

Check out the "Guess my 1000th post" for an intersting contest Wink

Yeah, every group has its "special" people that require grains of salt. For the most part, I've noticed that this group is really awesome and willing to share knowledge, resources and information.

Just don't post a CC source Wink

Welcome back....didn't know you then as I just signed up in July. From what I told, the board used to be pretty brutal on Noobs but since I signed up, it's for the most part been pretty cool. Some flames and I'll admit, I've taken part in a couple of them, but none that weren't waranted (asking for cuban sources, posting sources, etc...). For the most part, I've realy enjoyed the time here and have made some pretty good friends.

Response: "Get a $20 bill to taste like a Davidoff and I'll light my entire paycheck on fire!"

This board was pretty rough for a while, but then most of the ones that were causing the problem started their own board and left, it has been great lately!

I've heard that things used to be a bit more, ummmmmm, lively

Wink

I'm happy with the way the board is now - there's space for vigorous disagreement without getting ugly.

And we at least fire a warning shot 'cross the bow before launching full broadsides when a n00b starts out by being clueless...

So many cigars, so little time...

Couldn't agree more. This about the only board I participate on these days because I truly enjoy the exchange of information and the general good spirits.

Cigars for me have always been about the good life and enjoying life's pleasures. They are also best when shared with friends and family. This board seems to capture that spirit quite nicely.

Yes, These boards are really good. I was welcomed with open arms when I was a noob. It seems like they get better everyday. The member are truly genuine, and seem to be happier giving that receiving. It is great.

Welcome back kbice. I've learned quite a bit from everyone here. Some folks still get flamed once in awhile because they ignore all the rules. Overall, a really great group here, IMO
