Hey guys I've just completed the seasoning of
my new cabinet humidor that the wife, bless her,
got me for my Birthday back in January. Anyway after receiving 2 transit damaged units I got one in great shape at the end of May. put a couple bowls of distailled water in it and let her sit 45 days, then put in my two (2) - 1/2 lb. bowls of 65% humidi-beads from Heartfelt Ind. Let it set for another 45 days and it held between 63% and 65% @ 70 deg. Started to trans- fer from my coolerdor last night..brought up and inventoried some 200 sticks so far. figure it will be done by Friday night as the Humi hols 600, then I'll take some picks for you-all to see Big Grin

Very nice, but how did you have the restraint to season it for 3 months? I would have gone crazy wanting to fill it up........looking forward to the pictures and the celebratory cigars you're sending out.

Almost the same as the Atiem, but not. Where
my wife got it from I'll never know...she did her deliveries at my Daughters house and paid by money order so I couldn't trace it..She was
worried I'd find out about it and spoil the surprise. Cool

Let me know if you're ever serious on the coolerdor. Smile

Very nice DHP, Big Grin Just think, now you can stand there viewing through the window determining your next smoke selection. Very organized, neat tidy rows. And what a surprise, sounds like Mrs. DHP pulled it off very well. Congrats on the new storage.

Your coolerdor pics inspired me to build one as you know. Once the drawers arrive I'll be done and will post some pics of the DHP Spin off when completed possibly this week.
