I had an Ashe Churchill (big a*s cigar). Nice looking cigar that was mild-medium but had a very nice flavor. Similar to a Gispert. It went well with a couple of nice hoppy Sierra Nevada Pale Ales while listening to the Beavers beating Stanford this afternoon.

Thanks, Stoge.

Go Beavs!

I'm jealous, have fun man. Tonight I have a Padron 3KN or the last of my Monte DCs. Haven't decided which to smoke, I much prefer the Padron but kinda need to smoke the Monte to make room for real cigars. I'll probably drink coffee, and the warm kitty will come later Wink.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.

We had a departmental get together last night, and since it was outside by a fire, several cigars were consumed by the crowd, mostly Hemingways. Beverages ranged from beer and wine, to Glenmorangie Scotch, which was VERY smooth.
