I truly believe there are people in this country that want the US to loose the war in Iraq just for the sake of political gloating. It's sad.

You are exactly right En4cer71, & what makes it really sad is the fact they stay in this country enjoy all of its greatness & then bad mouth it every chance they get. I tend to think these people resent the USA as a world power & would like us to be on equal ground with the rest of the world.

The liberals sure complain about the 1,000 military deaths in an 18 month WAR. Why doesn't the far left complain about the over 42,000 deaths from automobile crashes in the US EVERY YEAR? Isn't each life precious?

Ever hear of a little book called Unsafe at Any Speed? Ralph Nader's 1965 expose on the "designed-in dangers of the American automobile" was directly responsible for the passage of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966, the Highway Safety Act of 1966, and the creation of the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration.

So yeah, a liberal did complain about senseless loss of life on our nation's roads--almost forty years ago. We "complain" about senseless loss of life today.

But it's nice to see you're so flippant about American war dead in Iraq.
