An interesting chart on electoral votes, yet what is the effective date of this chart?

Also, what would a Bush win have any relationship to various television and newspaper or other media sources?

Perhaps a Bush victory is what will happen, and we will know who wins within a month.

My wish is that the Senate is able to pick up just one seat. Reason is that government always works *best* when one party controls the White House and the other party controls at least one of the legislative houses. (Checks and balances do work.)

I hope Bush wins it will be a win for the military and for national security. The military has its ups and downs and since I first joined the army in 1979 all the downs were under Carter and Clinton. All the ups were under a Republican White House. I fear a Kerry victory would mean more American body bags coming home.

When Nixon ran for a second term, the U.S. was in the thick of the mess in the Vietnam war.

If Bush gets a second term, that would be consistent with the incumbent winning while the U.S. was once again in the midst of a war that we cannot win.

And Edwards walked into a buzzsaw. Kerry/Edwards are finished.
"Senator, you have a record in the Senate that is not very distinguished," said Cheney, who serves as president of the Senate and says he's present for floor sessions most Tuesdays. Turning toward his opponent, Cheney added that Edwards has missed votes on so many issues that "the first time I ever met you was when I walked on the stage tonight."

We can win the war in Iraq but the American public would never aprove of our methods. The United Nations would freak but they are poweless to stop us.

many other facts have started to surfice that statments made wer untrue as i alreaduy posted.
Seems Mr Cheney has amemory problem as he actually has had breakfast with edwards and again a meeting. so Cheney needs to stop the pompus old man politician and realize that his recorf of attendance is also very poor, also giving them grief for missing a vote yesterday they are campaigning and if if Kerry is so bad anhjos record so bad, how does he stay in office for 20 years?
i can't wait until the Afghanistan elections and then the Iraqui elections, they acryally might stand achance of being more accurate than, FL's as I saw where problrms were already occuring,
i will be voting but not for those clowns Smile

ferdelance the reason he got elected for 20 years is because he is an ultra-liberal for a state Massachusetts that is ultra-liberal. Now he is tring to change his image, he must if he expects to win a national election. Thats what is so funny about it. He never talks about his Senate voting record because he is one of, if not the most liberal person in the Senate. Saddam would still be in power if he was the President. Now we are over there fighting the terroists on their soil, it sort of deverts the terrorists attention from: Attack the USA; TO defend their homeland. The best defense is a good offense. Kerry is not the man for the job.

On another note raven35031 is completely right on. The liberal press will not let or military to what they do best, WIN. If Bush took the gloves off the Commanders in Iraq this would be over by election time. It is a shame, & people like Kerry are who causes this. Just look at what he said when he came back from Vietnam. He is a disgrace.

zbush continues to rehape Kerrys policy by changing the wrods, ZKerry fid not say that he would have left Saddam in poer, he did say that the war would ned to go throough theprocess (the one it ws going through and we were close to not having to be cowboys) but Bush does as he wants and says as he wsnts, Kery was pressing for what happened to our prioty in Afghanistan. but Bush would change the topic and then accuse Kerry of saying sometung or he or Cheney woud later say that terrorist will attack the US if they are elected, that is ruling though fear, deocracys do not work with govys of fear.
butr why am i even taking a side, LOL i ain;t voting for either and my liffe willnot be affected no matter who is the president.

Dan did you fight in Vietnam?. i was just a few years too young, id you were than i commend you just as icommend Kerry for his service and his courage to come back and being in a position where people listened to him, told the true story of what we knw now was not done by everyone(g=he didn;t say evewryone) but by some. the men who fight in wars (whether right or wrong) if they are US wars then they should be given repect and not have to experience what they had to when they returned home and the hippies were waiting to defame them.

Without the soldiers, the constitution is just a piece of paper with a bunch of fancy words and good ideas. Suitable to wipe with.

I've never had a piece of paper give me anything. It may describe what I'm getting, but without someone or something substantial behind it, it can't deliver!!

ferdelance I missed the Vietnam war, I was busy being born in 78. I am not in politics so no I am not going to give Kerry credit, in my opinion he committed treason. The US had his fellow troops on the ground in Vietnam & he is grandstanding about how he burnt villiages & killed civilans. They used his WORDS against our POWs still in prision. So yes he served his 4 months, but what he did when he got back cancelled it out IMO.

Who do you think the "hippies" were listening to John Kerry & Jane Fonda. That is the problem you answered it yourself.
