the bands on your sticks? what does everyone do with them?at one time, when i first started smoking, i saved all the different types.that only lasted about 6 months. since then, i just toss em away. i do know some people that save them..... what do you all do?
Every single band gets thrown into a glass that I picked up out at the Hrd Rock in San Fran last fall. I had a bunch of glasses sitting on top of my desk so one day I just decided to start using them. When the Hard Rock one is filled up, I will move on to another.

I usually throw mine away, but I've toyed with the idea of keeping them in a nice glass the way some guys do around here, but never got off my a$$ and done anything about it...cool idea though

I saved mine with no idea what I was going to do with them. I bought a cheap frame and some black cardboard and mounted them to it....I need to smoke more new cigars for new bands.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries. -David Savona

For some reason, I save my bands as well. Not sure what I'll ever do with them, maybe create something, but for now, I just have them all in old cigar boxes.
Same here. I don't know why I save them. I just do. I have a couple of giant Chimay goblets...I mean GIANT.. 1.5 liter! So I put them all in there. Looks cool, I guess...maybe I'll try and sell on ebay as fine art
I've been saving them for awhile. I went through them recently and set aside enough for a 1000 points in the Bandwagonusa.com group and I'm going to get one of the Upmann humidors like Smokie got. Figure I can put that on my coffee table and put all my Torano's in it and use the smaller 150 count for something else.

I have a corona-sized box that I save all my bands in. It's a keepsake really- you can look in there and how your smoking preferences have changed over time.
I am starting on my second 'band' lamp. I have one of those lamps with the large glass base that most people put sea shells in. I fill mine with cigar bands(the wife isn't crazy about it). I gave the first one to a smoking buddy, the next one is MINE.

I save mine, right now I have them in a samll tupperware bowl. I saw Jadawin's pic with the large glass goblet with all the bands and thought it looked pretty cool. I need to get a glass container for them.

I save all my bands and there are multiple colletions scattered around my house in unique and interesting containers. See my pics below.
Sometimes I trade them in, sometimes my GF gets the craft urge and transforms some mundane object in the house into a cigar band covered work of art. My goal is a bartop covered in cigar bands, then sealed with two part clear resin.
I'm saving them for a friend of my brother. His wife is making a cigar table for him by decopaging (?) the bands to the top. It'll probably look pretty cool.

I'm a cigar nerd. I paste them all into a notebook and write tasting notes by each of them. I figure that the older I get, the more I'll forget which ones I've smoked!
I have a plan for some Christmas gifts with some of them, but that's Top Secret!
