Thanks for all the support, I'm not feeling bad about it, it just isn't something that you like to go through. Ist time too.

Well, all the same I didn't enjoy working there anyhow. I'll find something closer to home and less stressfull.

I have time. I will take a few weeks to relax and then get going to look for something else.

I think I might use some of my severance to buy a nice box of cubans and a bottle of cognac.

I won't be changing careers. I will be looking for another Software Developer job.

Once again thanks for all the kind thoughts and best wishes to anyone who is in the same boat.

Don't sweat it. Life's short.
CM

i will share a powerful statement from my preacher Mr. Joel Osteen to all of you that are going thru this time:

We, believers in Christ believe that adversity is meant to promote you, not bring you down.

I declare God's favor and annointing over all y'all.

Hit the unemployment office and take some time to enjoy the summer. I lost a job for whistle-blowing a couple of years back and had the greatest 5 months riding my former employers unemployment insurance. Then landed a killer job making twice as much money for half as much work. Hope things work out for you!

Well took some time off and then really started looking hard at the end of july and august and will be working as a contract java developer starting next week.

I think this will be more interesting and challenging.

Wow....that was fast!

Good for you, as taking too much time can do a number on the head (as far as keeping one's sense of self worth up.)

Once again, congratulations!

And I really hope that you enjoy this new venture!

Keep us posted about it!
