Hi guys, I just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone. I have been a "lurker" for a few months now and thought it was time to register and join the fun. My name is Todd and I am from Huntsville, Alabama. I started enjoying cigars a few months ago, so I am in every aspect a cigar newb. I am a good listener and a fast learner, but I am on a budget so my smoking experience will have to remain on the middle of the cigar price road. I started out as a cigarette smoker and was instantly hooked when I was given a Padron 1964 Aniv. Series cigar on my 10th wedding aniv. by the wife.I have since stopped smoking cigs and devoted myself to cigars. I look forward to chatting and learning as much as I can about this great new lifestyle I have joined. Cheers and happy smoking everyone.

If your on a budget get on some mailing lists from the online vendors, goin cigarbid and watch for some of the private auctions. You can catch some great deals on some very good cigars.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm on the mend this morning. Licking the wounds the 'Dawgs gave us last night, but smoked a few really nice sticks during the game. Saint Luis Rey Series G #6 Maduro and Camacho Negro Robusto Larga, they helped distract me from the game. (if you can call it that)
Pangea- Yes, I do get my smokes from THPS. Nice people. Robin has been a tremendous help in getting me started and helping find sticks that suit my taste.

I met Robin at the Swan Creek rifle Range several years ago. Nice guy and happy to help customers. The young man that works there seems a bit sullen but hey, I'm there to buy cigars, not make friends.
