If it's just really thin cedar applied to the inside, I wouldn't bother with seasoning. By definition, a travel humi is a short-term way to protect your sticks. If they have been properly stored, and depending upon the length of your travels, you may not even have to put a humidification device in your 10-count. I use a larger Otterbox (no cedar) and unless I'm using it for more than a week, it requires no humidification device.

Same for me. I have a 5ct travel humi (one of the air-tight black box ones) and it has a built in humidifier. The cigars sit on the foam beds. I put some O2 in the humidifier and drop my digital hygrometer ('Little Havana' one shapped like a 3.5" corona) in there to make sure it stays moderately consistent. Never had a problem yet. Almost holds better than my desktop humi.

If its the same one I have (sounds like it), just put some distilled water on a clean cloth and give it a light rub. I also make sure I put the sponge in it for 2-3 days before I pack it up.
