You were talking in some other earlier thread, if I remeber correctly, that you have thought about leaping across the ocean for your medical studies... Have you considered Quebec?

McGill is a great English language university and the govt is desperate for doctors...

I always thought you had to know French at McGill, but I guess I'm thinking about a different school, or I might be mistaken completely. Dirt cheap for residents of Quebec too.

French always helps when you're in Quebec, but McGill is English (Université de Montréal is French). Nevertheless, I've seen anglos become quite fluent in French in less than a year -- immersion will do that to you.

That's pretty good. I have considered Canada indeed, and we did make a step towards it. My father applied for a worker's immigration visa and our application was accepted and put in queue, that was like 2 years ago, so we could be contacted soon by them to know what is required ahead.

My father though doesn't have much chances, he is 53, and though he is a very successful dermatologist and university professor here and in Saudi Arabia, he won't be able to work there unless he studies again and stuff like that, something which I will not accept, let alone him. He has his position and successful career here, if he was ever accepted he would go there after he retires to relax.

If he doesn't get accepted anyway, I will apply myself once I graduate. Je peux parler Francais, mais tres faible.
