I have a 100 ct. humidor, about 2/3 full. I have the humidor device they give you and its working well, my analog humidor reader reads 68% consistantly, my humidor is about 2-3 weeks old, but i didn't age it or whatever they call it. anyways i also have 3 of those water pillows in there, should i take them out? i wanna know if i might be over humidifying my cigars.

Well there are a bunch of "ifs" here. If your hygrometer is correct and if your humidification device is correct your ok. I would tend to think the humdification device would just absord the excess water the pillow gives off. So, I don't see a need for the water pillows. You might want to consider a digital hygrometer, because the do work much much better. You can pick one up at radioshack for $20.

I'm no expert, so you might want to wait for someone like Docbarry.

You should have seasoned the humidor before you placed cigars in it as an unseasoned humidor can pull moisture out of your cigars.

The Pillows I presume are Boveda packs. These will dry out eventually if left in an unseasoned humidor.

Analog hygrtometers are notoriously innacurate, get a digital.

If the cigars do not feel hard and the wrappers are not dry you should be OK, but if it were mine I would season the humidor
