Yesterday I had the opportunity for a two hour flight in a WWII B-17G bomber "Fuddy Duddy". Flew from Buffalo, NY to Schnectady, NY (Near Albany).
What a ride! Big Grin

Spent a lot of time thinking about the young kids who flew 65 years ago over Germany and the 10,000 that were lost in B-17's.

The airplane was on display at Buffalo for three days prior to my flight and I met a lot of WWII vets (Now all in their early 80's!) who were crewman on the planes. Many were shot down and were POW's. Amazing stories from men who felt that they were ordinary and simply doing their job for their country. I consider them all heros!

God bless those guys!

Also thought a lot about our guys who are overseas putting their lives on the line for us today.
