Doc, help me please, what is your recipe for a mrtini. I thought it was 2/1 gin vermouth.

I use about 1/4 shot of dry vermouth and 4 oz Tanqueray with a squeeze of lime and 4-queen olives.

Watched NASCAR this afternoon from Martinsville. Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag.

A PSD4 this evening

Have a good evening all

Newbie here first time I have ever listed my smoke of the day. It was a Rocky Patel "edge". Dont know where this cigar is on you guys yummy chart , but I thought it was pretty good. My local cigar shop owner was very helpful and sold me a dozen cigars of six different manufacturers. Looking forward to finding a favorite.

I hung out with Brenda (Scotch7Cigars), enjoyed a few adult beverages. She had a Monte 2, I had a SLR "A" and a Monte 2.

Thanks Doc, I was using too much vermouth.

My Father Lancero. Superb

"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points."

This afternoon I had a Monte (NC) churchill on the deck. Hang in there fall, it's OK to be warm and sunny.

I started out with nothing and still have most of it.

My birthday (33) today, and what an amazing b-day weekend it was! Spent the last couple days in Menomonie, Wisconsin with a dear friend (my ex Smile) indulging in some great brew, food, and Oktoberfest celebration at Das Bierhaus, and eating some really amazing raw food at The Raw Deal. Had a Bolivar Short Bolivar (thanx Sheri!) earlier, and am now enjoying what will be my birthday smoke for the next 29 years, a Ramon Allones Phoenicio. Tons of spice so far, though quite different from a single I had from a different box code, which IMO was better. Night all.

Happy Birthday to us jinx, mine too, although I am almost twice as old. This evening, an RP OWR robusto, and a DPG Blue Imperiales.
