I visited the Dominican Republic recently and went on a tour of the Don Lucas Museum. I bought some cigars there which I enjoyed. The problem is that I can't find them on any web sites that sell cigars. Do they sell under a different name in the US? Thanks LT
I think those may be a Resort type house brand, sort of like Graycliff, but only available through the Don Lucas Tourist factory. Not sure though. I've never seen one here in the U.S.

I was there in may and bought many cigars there. They do not have a web site( I tried the same thing as you)I did have an e-mail addy (I'll try to find it for you) I havn't bought from them via the mail though!
I visited the store/small factory last year and bought fifty torpedoes, a good qulaity $5 cigar. I will be back to visit them this Feb. They are a small producer. He is keen on promoting quality dominican products. I only tried the torpedoes and would welcome other recommendations. Fo those confined to Punta Cana area, these localy mae cigars are a best bet. Many "cigar" stores have overpriced and poorly stored dominican brands.
Doc, You're a little off base on this one. I have a shipment of Don Lucas that should be arriving any day now. I'll post an update to see how they compare to the ones that I bought in the DR. LT
We're returning to PC in two weeks. I bought 50 torpedoes last time. Any recommendations of other sizes? Have you tried Domenicos? ...And we brought back those fifty, to Canada.
I picked up a box of the Coronas size 42x50. I didn't make it to Domenicos. Don Lucas was the only one that I visited. A real nice place, you walk into their large humidor room and start sampling. They ask you what you like; mild, medium, robusto etc. and they light one up for you.
I just got my shipment in on Friday. I went in with a couple pals on an order of 50.The e-mail address is: donlucascigars@hotmail.com Get in touch with them and ask for a price list. Let me know how you make out. LT
