I'm suprised that there is no music discussion, seeing as a fine cigar and good music should go hand in hand. Any particular beats, songs, musicians, that really make a cigar right? Do you have a favorite pairing (music w/cigar?)

anything by Sinatra goes great with a cigar and scotch. Some Dean Martin too. Some good Texas country is nice sometimes. Maybe a little Stevie ray Vaughn. I guess it depends on the mood

I've always been a fan of Miles, Monk, or early Coltrane if I'm looking to just relax. They also lend themselves well to being background music if there's a conversation going.

I like all of the suggestions so far. But in the right mood everything is good with the right cigar.

Chicago, I'm inclined to agree with you.

Also, especially now that the weather is warming up, some Django Reinhardt (sp?) - old gypsy guitar jazz from the 30's. Very old school.

And, of course, samba.

Being that most of the cigars that we smoke come from Central America or the Carribbean, the best music to listen to while smoking has to be afro-cuban/latin jazz. Frank Sinatra is ok, but I'd rather listen to Dean Martin and Tony Bennett.

It depends...

Playing pool with friends - Coltrane, Tito and the Tarantulas, The Cure, or the Church.

Outside in on the patio... Nothing. Just the sound of life.

During poker some good background music - Sergio Mendez, and some good South American music.

Flamenco guitar a beautiful woman and a cigar. Nice.
