Anyone else notice this? I got a huge chocolate bunny from someone for easter so I ate it for breakfast this morning along with a camacho corojo. (breakfast of champions) Can you say heartburn? Holy crap, my insides are on fire. LOL, I don't recommend it but I have noticed when I eat chocolate with cigars I almost always get heartburn.

You might want to try one of those Cuban chocolate cigars for B'fast.

Always enjoyed good dark chocolate with a heavy flavored cigar...never got heartburn from it though..But then again, my ex-wife's cooking sucked, and if I could eat that, I could stand anything

Do you have a good source for the cuban chocolate cigars (CCC)? I have a couple but I think they may be fake. The bunny's ears look like dog ears.

One can't be too careful in this day of fakes. I usually travel to Canada a few times a year and visit there "Cuban chocolate cigar" stores. If you see a GCCC label in the window they are genuine. Problem is getting them back across the border. Customs has some very good cuban chocolate cigar sniffing dogs. It's a touchy issue but worth the effort - especially for breakfast.

The taxes aren't too high in Canada? I thought they increased taxes on all the things that make you fat to pay for their health programs.

Is it ok to cut CCC in half to share with friends?

oh no....I see where this is going Big Grin. So, here's what I do. Any time I smuggle illegal CCC's into the country, I remove all the bands, and then I melt the CCC's down. When I get home...well, I haven't really figured that part out yet...I'll get back to ya... Roll Eyes

I also like dark chocolate with a nice full flavored cigar, usually a nice maduro, really brings out the flavors IMO.

I've got a buddy with a pre-embargo CCC mold. Once you melt down the CCC's, you can put them in the mold and they're good to go.

I've heard that Swiss Chocolate Cigars (SCC) are just as good as real CCCs.

I have a source for the bands. I see a business opportunity here.

I notice that anytime I smoke I get more nicotine buzz and slight increase in heartburn occuring. I don't recommend cheap chocolate with cigars. Pick up the Lindt Excellence chocolates in either 70 or 85% cocoa. Rich flavors and mouthfeel without a lot of sugar and waxy taste, very good with cigars.

Does lindt chocolate come shaped like a bunny? If not, you can keep your fancy rich flavorful chocolate. Razz
