I could never figure those animals out.
I can understand why they make their huts and dams out of wood....but why eat wood when there are tasty fish around?

QM, there's a double entendre inherent in the title to this thread that might lead one to believe that you are going to tell a joke.

Or since you're Canadian, maybe the mere hint at or threat of a joke IS the joke. Smile

TC
I got the quote in the CQE Primer available from the Quality Council of Indiana
I don`t have that book with me, so I can`t say to whom they attributed it.

Another like it is attributed to Albert Einstein by the Six Sigma Academy (well known consultants that were overated & overpriced in the mid 90`s)
"To do the same thing over and over and expect a different result is insanity".

Personally I don`t think Einstein ever wrote or said that. Not anymore than he said " God does not play dice"

Wasn't that Pat Roberston?

LOL

The reason I asked, was that I would like to eventually use this quote on my company website.

I was expecting to see a joke in there as well.

Don't most beavers have a fishy smell?

Of course the exception is when a patch of lilac is growing nearby. Then the beaver doesn't smell as bad ... yeah, beavers.

I eat both fish and beaver. Does this make me an omnivore?

QM, why do most of your thread titles sound like spam subject lines?

I would not be surprised if this thread had been called, "Why don't beavers eat fish and VIOXX."

He's CANADIAN. That means he's from CANADA. That's supposedly FUNNY in Canadian, and is often referred to as "HUMOR".

In a prominent college newspaper, the headline read:

"BEAVERS MUFF CHANCE TO SNATCH PAC-10 LEAD"

packed in.

Classic.

Now, see...THAT'S funny. Even for a Canadian. For a Canadian because a Canadian would think it's a joke, and to everyone else, for that same reason!

WARNING: Please do not confuse English-Canadian humor (or lack thereof) with French-Canadian humor!!!
We, the latter, thrive in humor (You wouldn't believe the number of humorists in Quebec). Of course, it's all in French, but very funny nonetheless.

There even was a contest once in Montreal: First prize: a week in Toronto. Second prize: two weeks in Toronto. Third prize: three weeks in Toronto.
