Well I couldn't stand it any longer, and I smoked my padilla 8/11 today...man what a nice cigar, perfect construction, with a beautiful band, that is in scale with the stick, with a beautiful triple cap, perfect wrapper, hefty weight and firm to the touch without a softspot, or imperfection. The prelight aroma was out of this world, and the burn and ash was perfect, never needing the least bit touch up. The ash held on til I rolled it off, and was very dark, with that perfectly tight layered look. There was a great flavor from beginning to end, but it didn't really change throught the stick, just a good medium flavor, sorta of like the hybrid, only stronger. It seemed kinda of dry, but also had a good finish. This will definately be box worthy, and should age nicely. Thanks to Ernesto for allowing me to smoke this before they were readily available...

If it's anything like the Hybrids I'd be interested to know what one's like after about 6 mos. in the humi.

I will probably hold off on mine until next week or so. I have not tryed either of the ones he sent, the Hybrid or the 8/11 so it will be tough to decide. I will probably hit the Hybrid first and wait another week on the 8/11. But I can't wait it sound great. I think price will be the only issue.
