Hey I just received my box of Bolivar Royal Coronas yesterday. I am new to the whole cigar smoking and ordering and storing cigars at the right humidity. But my question for right now is where do i find out the date my box of cigars was made and how long they have been in a humidifier. Also there is one cigar in the whole box where at the foot of the cigar a 1 inch peice has flaked off is this normal or bad.

There should be a box code on the bottom on the box. As far asthe damged cigar, it was probably just damaged in shipping or something.

Post some pictures of both the box and the cigars would make this a whole lot easier.

box code is at the bottom of the box in 2 parts.. it will say something like POS NOV06 (which means it was rolled at factory coded POS on Nov 2 2006). now don't ask about factory codes, because the cubans change those faster than they change underwear...

as for the flaked tabacco, it is nothing.. just transport damage. it will not be noticibale when smoking

enjoy your BRC... they are very good cigars

I have to say it is more then "may". I think the burden of proof is on the underwear at this time?
