I know I will not be smoking anything tonight as my wife and I will be driving out to the funreal home on Long Island, about an hours ride and she will not allow me to smoke in the car so I snuck in a smoke this morning on the way to the office.
A Zino Mini-Cigarillo. Maybe another one while at the wake.

I hope your wife is doing alright with losing her mother.
Today, I turn 31. One year ago exactly we found out we were having a boy. Today he is 7 1/2 months old.
I will be smoking my favorite NC and CC today. PAM 1926 #1 and a Montecristo #2.
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia
I might go for one of my cheap smokes this evening. A Condega Piramide. In my experience they have been bland and one dimensional. But they look impressive and are dirt cheap in spain.
Anyone else had any?

My thoughts & prayers are with you Doc on your loss. Tonights smoke will have extra meaning as I'll reflect on the loss of a loved one. I'll probably smoke a PSD4 unless my order of other CCs come in today...

Today I started out with an Oliva Serie G Torpedo with my morning French roast. The first one out of a box I bought about a week ago.
I wanted a nice medium cigar for my morning and mid-day smokes. I have to say these G's are fantastic. I could easily smoke them all the time. In the last third they really step-up in strength and flavor in a good way.

Doc, sorry to hear about your loss - my sympathies.
I too smoked a small one: Avo Classic Purito. Surprisingly flavorfull for such a little thing. No wonder though - turns out they use like 5 different DR tobaccos and it's even hand rolled.

did64, I had a robusto of that last year. Mild, and like you say pretty simple.

Hey Doc, hope all is well. Today I started with a H.Upmann vintage Cameroon petit corona with coffee on the way to work. After lunch it was a Fuente Anejo #50. An absolute flavor bomb. Loved it. I will pick up more of these.
