Do any of you use a GPS system either in your car or a hand held unit. I have owned several over the years and use them in the Army Guard and I use one alot with my state job. I currently own and used one just like it in Afghanistan and Iraq and in Germany. It is the Garmin eTrex Vista. I really like this GPS its small light weight, tuff, quick to get a fix and accurate.
If anyone uses a GPS what kind do you use and do you like it?

I have one that I use when I go camping in Colorado and when I ride my ATV in the Ozarks of Missouri. It is about 5 years old but it is still a good one. It is a Garmin GPS 12 MAP.
I have a Garmin iQue 3600, it is also a PDA and very helpful although not altogether user friendly, it kind of reminds me of the 286 and 386 computers before the pentiums. It has saved my bacon or at least some "time" in finding several locations while on several biz trips. I have been looking into the new TomTom 700 that is supposed to be the cats meow at this stage, although they are not cheap, but apparently the easiest to use for the novice, which basically would be my knowledge of this type of electronics.

I have a garmin rino 120 that i use with their topo and blue charts software. I cant speak highly enough of the unit, very easy to use. The "find and go feature" which allows you to navigate to other rino users is extremely uesful for activities such as hunting (esp. in unfamiliar territory).
I have a Garmin III+ unit that I use only periodically. I have done waypoint logging and tracking, but have not invested in the more detailed topo software.
My car has a unit based on a DVD database made for Infiniti by Zenrin. For my part of the country, it has very good coverage, but some other areas need to build up the door-to-door navigation density. They offer period updates for approx $200, but I'm waiting until some significant changes are incorporated.
